T-Ball (2019-2021 Born)
Players will take part in 1 practice and 1 game per week in this instructional league designed to teach the fundamentals of softball. Co-ed teams, players will hit off a tee. Practice session may be converted into a game in the event of rainouts.
Program takes place at Orleans, ON softball diamonds on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between May and July. And end of year wrap up event will take place for families in August.
5-Pitch (2017-2018 Born)
Players will take part in 1 practice and 1 game per week in this introductory league. Co-ed teams, players will receive 5-pitches to put the ball in play from their own coach. Practice session may be converted into a game in the event of rainouts.
Program takes place at Orleans, ON softball diamonds on Monday and Wednesday evenings between May and July. End of year tournament will take place in August.
Jr. Rec (2014-2016 Born)
Players will take part in 1 practice and 1 game per week in this recreational league. Co-ed teams, where players will pitch underhand to the opposing team. Practice session may be converted into a game in the event of rainouts.
Program takes place at Orleans, ON softball diamonds on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between May and July. End of year tournament will take place in August.
Players registered before January 15th 2026 will receive an Early Bird Registration discount off their enrolment fees. Full fees for 2026 come into effect on January 16th 2026, with a registration cut off of April 30th, 2026.
Players wishing to try out for a competitive team must be registered in their corresponding rec level team in order to be eligible for tryouts. Tryouts will occur in late May with additional details to be posted and circulated.
Intermediate Rec (2012-2013 Born)
Int. Rec is open to any players born in 2012, or 2013.
-Intermediate Rec is being launched as a pilot project, and will only run if there is sufficient interest and coach support. If you have a child who may be interested in taking part in this age group, please add their name to the wait list, and you will be contacted closer to the start of the season should there be enough participants to run this division.
Refund Policy
The Capital Softball Association refund policy for all programs is as follows:
